Pau wins the Ciutat de Palma de cómic award 2019.
We are pleased to announce that the Ajuntament de Palma last night awarded the Ciutat de Palma de cómic 2019 prize to Pau, comic author and founder of the Escápula publishing house.
The Ciutat de Palma, one of the most important awards in our country in its comic section, has been awarded for his project Curtiss Hill, a story in the style of The Saga of Atlas & Axis, with dogs and cats as protagonists, set in a thirties coming out of a serious economic crisis to enter a great war.
Curtiss Hill and his antagonist Rowlf Zeichner are rivals on the race track, and also off it. Curtiss is known for his sportsmanship and nobility, while Zeichner will cheat in any way to win. But the instinct of photojournalist Maugène Berk tells her to be wary of appearances. An exciting adventure where the principles of all will be shaken.
